Vilayphone holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s degree in International Community Development from Victoria University in Australia. She joined the Clinton Health Access Initiative as a Malaria Case Management Associate, where she supported national efforts to ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment of Plasmodium vivax. In this role, she worked closely with government counterparts to strengthen malaria service delivery and promote data-driven decision-making. She currently serves as Senior Program Manager overseeing Malaria, Dengue, and the Emergency Operations Center (EOC), providing strategic leadership to strengthen disease surveillance, outbreak preparedness, and emergency response systems.
