SUMMARY: IEIF – ASEAN  Research  Collaboration Project
DESCRIPTION: What:The ASEAN Research Collaboration Project is funded by the Australian Government Department of Education through the&nbsp;International Education Innovation Fund and is supported by the RMIT Asia Trade and Innovation Hub.&nbsp;The Project will deliver Early Career Researcher (ECR) placements for ASEAN member states in Australian research&nbsp;institutions in shared priority areas. The ECRs will need to be within eight years of completing their PhDs. Between 75-100&nbsp;early career researchers from ASEAN countries will complete a research project at an Australian research institution over 1 to&nbsp;3 months across three rounds.&nbsp;When:Round 1: 2 June 2025 &ndash; 29 August 2025Round 2: A second round of the Project will open for applications in July 2025. More details to follow.Round 2: A third round of the Project will open in October 2025. More details to follow.Eligible Countries:Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, The Philippines, Singapore, Thailand,&nbsp;Viet Nam, any country that joins ASEAN during the project.Eligible Research Focus Areas:Agriculture and Food, Resources and Energy, Infrastructure, The Green Economy, any other priority areas that will bolster&nbsp;Australia's competitiveness and drive commercialisation outcomes&nbsp;Project website
