DESCRIPTION: The Australian Embassy invites our alumni, Australian community in Laos, Foreign missions in Laos, and our friends to attend a FREE public screening of the inspiring documentary film “FREEMAN” on Saturday 4 November, starting from 3PM at Major Cineplex Vientiane Center, Theatre 4."FREEMAN" is the story of a nation gathered around the rise of Cathy Freeman, an Australian Indigenous athlete who triumphed at the Sydney Olympics in 2000.The film sheds light on one of Australia’s proudest moments and explores why, twenty years on, it remains an inspiring story for Australians and sport fans around the world.Watch the trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0H-vIxsYkS8No ticket is required!
